How It Works
A straightforward, no risk process. You upload a document, we do the actuarial work, and you only pay if money comes back.
You Send Us Your Mod Worksheet
The NCCI experience rating worksheet is the document that drives your mod calculation. Upload it through our secure form. It takes 60 seconds. If you don't have a copy, your insurance broker can get one, or you can request it from NCCI. Ask us how.
We also accept loss runs and payroll reports for deeper analysis.
We Audit Every Line
We cross reference every data point on your worksheet against your carrier's loss runs, your actual payroll by class code, and NCCI's own rules. We check classification codes, medical only claim coding, reserve accuracy, subrogation credits, and split point calculations.
This is a audit, not a surface level scan.
We Show You What We Found
If we identify errors, you get a clear report showing each error, how it impacts your mod, and the estimated dollar recovery. No jargon, no guessing. Just exact numbers.
If we don't find errors, we'll tell you that too. No charge either way for the review.
We File Corrections
With your authorization, we file correction requests with your insurance carrier and NCCI. We handle all the back and forth: carrier claims departments, NCCI data corrections, state bureau filings.
We follow up aggressively. Corrections don't process themselves.
You Get Money Back
Once corrections are approved, your mod is recalculated and your premiums are adjusted. Overpayments come back to you as refunds from your carrier. We collect our fee only from what we recover.
Typical timeline: 6–9 months from engagement to carrier refund. Mod corrections at NCCI often process faster; the carrier reissue is the long pole.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this cost?
Nothing upfront. We work on contingency basis as a % of recovered premiums. If we don't find errors or can't recover money, you owe us nothing.
How far back can you review?
Your current mod is built from a 3-year experience window, and we review every year inside it. When older years contain data errors that still flow through to your current calculation, we pursue those corrections too.
Will this affect my relationship with my insurance broker?
No. Most brokers don't audit the NCCI calculation itself, and several refer clients to us once they see what we recover.
What if my mod is already below 1.00?
You may still have errors. A mod below 1.00 means you're better than average, but it doesn't mean the calculation is correct. We've found recoverable errors in sub-1.00 mods.
What documents do I need to provide?
Your NCCI experience rating worksheet is all we need to start. For a deeper analysis, carrier loss runs and payroll records by class code are helpful.
